Saturday, February 10, 2018 Bird Banding Demonstration & Breakfast
(weather permitting) 8 am - 10:30 am
Capturing and banding birds gives us an up-close look at these amazing creatures! Learn how the birds are captured with mist nets, and why banding is important in understanding the migration, health, and ecology of birds. $10 per person.

February 19- 23, 2018 Winter Sanctuary Adventures
Warm up to nature this winter at the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center! Explore our woods, build amazing forts, become a wacky scientist, create arts and crafts, and build new friendships with our animals and other campers. If weather permits, we’ll roast marshmallows over our camp fire!

$80 per day/$350 per week

April 2- 6, 2018 Spring Sanctuary Adventures
Share in the wonders of nature at the Sanctuary for spring break. Each day is designed to foster a love of learning in the great outdoors through hands-on activities, games, crafts, and exploration. Search for frogs, explore the cove and it's creatures, look for animal tracks, and play trail games as we welcome spring.

$80 per day/$350 per week

Award-Winning Nature Photographs on Display at Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center
Roadshow of 2017’s Best Avian Photography Coming to Oyster Bay, NY!

Visit the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary & Audubon Center at 134 Cove Road Oyster Bay, NY 11771 between 2/15/18  and 3/5/18 to walk among the winning bird photographs from this year’s Audubon Photography Awards and learn more about your local birdlife.  The exhibit will be open to the public Monday – Friday 9 am – 4 pm and Saturday, February 17, 2018 and Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 11 am – 3 pm.  For more information email trsac@audubon.org or call 516-922-3200.
