Montezuma Audubon Center to offer summer camps

The Montezuma Audubon Center, 2295 state Route 89, Savannah, will offer its 2016 Youth Sportsman and Wildlife Adventure Summer Camps for ages 11-15.

The camps include:
Hunter Safety/Waterfowl ID: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11-15. The camp will be led by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation officers and include hands-on learning, outdoor experiences and home study courses. Course manual and workbook will be provided. Participants will earn certificates.

Bow and Trapper Safety: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 18-22. The camp will be led by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation officers and include hands-on learning, outdoor experiences and home study courses. Course manual and workbook will be provided. Participants will earn certificates.

Wildlife Adventure Camp: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25-29. Participants will explore the Montezuma Wetlands Complex. Participants should bring hiking boots and water shoes.

The cost will be $125 per camp. Multi-camp discounts will be available.
