Birds Mean Business
Sean Mahar launches Audubon New York’s Birds mean Business campaign at a May press event in Albany, NY

Bird watching is the fastest growing outdoor recreation in New York and the Nation, and Audubon New York’s “Birds Mean Business” initiative is designed to show businesses and municipalities first hand that bird watchers are bringing in the bucks locally.  This campaign features calling cards (see photos) that have been created thanks to funding from the TogetherGreen program that birders will be encouraged to leave behind with local businesses, municipal officials and Chambers of Commerce in the places they visit to watch birds in the coming year.
