The 2015 Audubon Young Members Spring Benefit 'Light Out', was held at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan, in support of Audubon New York's advocacy efforts urging Governor Cuomo to enact the Lights Out Initiative. The announcement was then made the following week that the state buildings of New York would be turning their lights out from dusk to dawn during the time of peak bird migration.
