November 2017 | News from the Nest

Dear friend,

With the end of the year approaching we feel accomplished in all we’ve been able to do for birds and people in 2017, as well as extremely grateful for the unwavering support of members like you. On November 8th we were thrilled to host our Keesee Award Luncheon in New York City, honoring five tremendous conservationists. With over 200 attendees present, the event was a huge success and we are thankful to those who were able to join and contribute to the event. Click here to learn more about our honorees.

Earlier in autumn, we held our annual all-staff retreat. The retreat offers invaluable time for team-building and strategic planning, as well as an opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of colleagues. This year we honored four particularly impressive staff members with the Audubon New York Conservationist of the Year Award. Click here for more information about the work these dedicated conservationists were recognized for.

Below you will find more updates from our state-wide network, and information on ways that you can become involved in our conservation efforts. We are proud to partner with you as the leading voice for birds in New York State.

Sincerely,
Claudette Thornton
Director of Strategic Communications
