2003 State and Federal
Conservation Policy Resolutions

A publication of the Audubon New York
(the state program of the National Audubon Society)
and Audubon Council of New York State

Audubon New York, the Audubon Council of New York State, and Audubon Chapters establish annual up-to-date public policy resolutions in the areas of conservation funding, bird and wildlife conservation, and habitat conservation. These areas are integral to accomplishing the mission of the National Audubon Society, which is "to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds and other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity." These public policy resolutions form the basis for Audubon New York's conservation programs and set measurable benchmarks for conservation action.
