Birding and Boating on the Seneca River
What better way to enjoy a late summer afternoon than a relaxing canoe/kayak paddle near the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge. We will paddle along the Seneca River to explore a variety of songbirds, shorebirds, and birds of prey including the Bald Eagle and Osprey. Facial coverings will be required when entering and exiting the water and we will follow physical distancing guidelines. Bring your own canoe/kayak or rent a boat from us.
We will launch from the NYSDEC Seneca River Boat Launch on Routes 5&20 (42962025°N, 76739039°W) Seneca Falls, NY 13148. This launch is located across from the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge entrance.
Space is limited and pre-paid reservations are required. Fee: $10/child without rental, $15/adult without rental, $25/solo kayak rental, $40/canoe rental (maximum 2 adults plus 1 child). Call 315.365.3588 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
