The chapter’s multi-dimensional project truly embodies the spirit of the award and legacy of its namesake by addressing long-term conservation goals with the integration of young conservation leaders into the work of enhancing bird habitat and addressing invasive species issues at a key migration stopover site along Lake Ontario.

It was inspiring to see the variety of conservation projects submitted by so many of our chapters, all of which work hard to help us achieve conservation at scale for New York.

We’re proud to work with such an amazing network of chapter leaders and volunteers.
