Audubon NY Forest Program Manager Suzanne Treyger will lead a fun and informative walk through young forest habitat to glimpse and hear the songs of the colorful feathered inhabitants. This free and family-friendly walk will take place rain or shine and require walking up to 1 mile in forest conditions. The walk will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. from the Arnot Forest north gate on Irish Hill Road in the Town of Newfield (www.arnotforest.info), which is just past the Green Springs Natural Cemetery (292 Irish Hill Road, Newfield). Enter the Arnot north gate and continue approximately 500 yards to the parking area. No registration is necessary.
